Building an Engaged Community of Senior Technology Leaders
Marc Montoro
CXO Peer Group Chair
Through quarterly gatherings and year-round relationships, we create a space where real conversations happen—about leadership, career momentum, visibility, confidence, and what it takes to thrive in today’s tech landscape.
IT leaders from across the Triangle come together for engaging discussions impacting the IT community. We’re excited to continue growing this collaborative CXO community.
Thank you to our Annual Investors, Cherry Bekaert, Vaco, Wake Technical Community College, Williams Mullen.
What to expect
SIM RTP Women meetings are intentionally interactive—more than a networking night, and never just a lecture. Each gathering features a unique program that encourages participants to:
- Connect with other women IT leaders in the Triangle
- Share challenges and learn from real-world experience
- Build relationships that extend beyond the event
- Leave with practical insights and next steps you can act on
Gain support and accountability from peers who want to see you win
Topics vary each quarter, but the focus stays consistent: empowering women in technology through leadership, community, and forward progress.
Attend a Meeting
SIM RTP Women hosts four meetings each year. Attendance is complimentary for SIM RTP women members and for IT practitioners who are exploring membership and want to experience the community firsthand. Stay tuned for more details about our next meeting. Contact Rachel Kennedy with questions.
